ANS Finland and ACR Sweden partner on air traffic control training program
ANS Finland has signed an agreement with ACR Sweden for air traffic controllers training program. The aim of the program is to train 10 air traffic controllers to Swedish air traffic controlling units.
ACR Sweden is responsible for the recruitment of the new trainees and the process has already begun.
- The agreement with ACR is a very important step forward for ANS Finland and we are happy to establish this cooperation regarding education of air traffic controllers for ACR. ACR develops its operations and competences in order to become an acknowledged service provider internationally within the air navigation services and ANS Finland can support this strategy by providing tailor made training programmes, says Senior Vice President Matts-Anders Nyberg, ANS Finland.
The training begins at Avia College in October 2018 and is completed in Finland by the end the summer 2019.
The agreement was signed by ACR Sweden CEO Wilhelm Wohlfahrt and ANS Finland CEO Raine Luojus.
